The company VÍTKOVICE POWER ENGINEERING a.s. ( the former DIZ), participated in the past in the construction of the boiler houses of almost all thermal energy sources on lignite and bituminous coal in the Czech Republic ( Tushimice I and II, Počerady, Chvaletice, Detmarovice and the others ).
It was, in particular, the implementation of investment units of the boiler houses from the elaboration of the project documentation, manufacture and assembly of support steel structures , supplies and installation of technologic equipment up to putting into operation.
In the eighties and nineties VÍTKOVICE participated in supplies of technologic equipments for the energy sources friendly to environment, and in particular at implementation of equipment for reduction of NOx emission at desulphurization of some Power Plants. Furthermore VÍTKOVICE has participated also in assurance of the boilers overhauls for the standard Power Systems.
VÍTKOVICE POWER ENGINEERING company was also the general supplier of technologic equipments at construction of new sources with fluid bed combustion, so-called fluid-bed boilers (Tisová, Mladá Boleslav).
At present time our company realizes the construction of four new boilers 200 MWe , as a general supplier of the commercial packet OB 02 – Boiler house, in the framework of Complete reconstruction of the Power Plant Tushimice II.
