Manufacture program for Nuclear Power Systems in VÍTKOVICE company has been started from the half of the seventies of the last century. At this time the components for the Nuclear Power Plants of VVER 440 and VVER 1000 type have been manufactured.

As the main components for the Nuclear Power Plants units with reactors VVER 440 were the pressurizers, steam generators, equipment of reactor shaft, internal structure rings, reactor vessels, primary piping, containers for irradiated fuel, bubblers.

In the nineties of the 20th century VÍTKOVICE company was the only company that produced the NPP components in accordance with the western and eastern technology at the same time.

At the present time VÍTKOVICE company offers the equipment of primary circuit for the Nuclear Power Plants of VVER 1200 type including elaboration of technical specifications for supply, complete manufacture and technical documentation, strength basic and control calculations, material specification, Quality Control Program, operation manual, assembly documentation including complex service of manufactured components.

In 2009 the realization of the contract on completion and modernization of already delivered steam generators and pressurizers started in the framework of completion of the Nuclear Power Plant Mochovce units 3 and 4, one from three realized projects of the NPP units construction in the EU countries.
Engineering and modernization activities on delivered equipments will continue up to the year 2013.
