Biological waste water treatment plants

VÍTKOVICE has produced for more than 40 years and supplied to the Czech Republic and abroad the large-volume tanks, bolted from enamelled plates of own production. These plates are the basic structural element and marked feature of the Vitkovice ČOV HYDROVIT®.

Biological waste water treatment plants are the technological units that treat waste water from the localities, agriculture, food and the other industry and return water to nature with required strict ecological parameters.

Treatment process of our BWWTP (ČOV) is based on perfect mechanical preliminary cleaning and biological treatment by long activation and sludge stabilization. High efficiency of organic substances removal and at the same time marked reduction of nitrogen compounds is achieved by the combination of nitrification and denitrification.  When required, it is possible to include chemical removal of phosphor, or other elements and compounds. 

VÍTKOVICE POWER ENGINEERING a.s. offers complex services, long-term experience and own know-how at realization of technologic units or components of the Biological Waste Water Treatment Plants that are the result of collaboration with the front water systems specialists. For supplies of the BWWTP program our company has own design, construction, manufacture, supply and service capacities.

  • ČOV HYDROVIT® SBR – discontinuing monoblock with capacity 500 – 2 000 EO
  • ČOV HYDROVIT® SI – compact flow BWWTP with capacity 2 000 - 10 000 EO
  • ČOV HYDROVIT® P – freeassembly of biological tanks of type P with capacity 10 000 – 100 000 EO
